Our Process
Air Set / No-Bake Aluminum Casting
Our chemically bonded sand process is highly versatile and produces complex castings across a broad range of sizes and weights, including construction components, engine blocks and defense vehicle castings. It is well suited for prototypes and low- to mid-volume production, offering complexity, dimensional accuracy and flexibility. The process allows greater detail in complicated casting shapes and supports complex core assemblies inside or outside the mold.
Our Process
Permanent Mold Casting
When a project requires consistent castings with precise tolerances, our permanent mold process provides accuracy, quality and dimensional repeatability. Enhanced cooling improves alloy soundness and can provide approximately 15% greater strength than sand casting, along with smoother finishes and fewer impurities.
Our Process
Metal Quality and Traceability
Muncie Castings tests the chemistry of every heat poured. Each heat receives a unique heat number, providing complete traceability to the castings produced. Every heat is treated to remove hydrogen gas and foreign material, supporting uniform casting integrity and trouble-free machining.
ISO 9001:2015 Registered
Quality management systems certified for aluminum casting production.
